This project consists of replacing the pavement that was in poor overall condition along I-75 from Beltline Trail to just south of the bridge over the I-75 ramp to I-85 in Fulton County. GDOT proposed to resurface the 12.5mm Poly and OGFC on I-75 for a distance of 5.96 miles. The project also consisted of repaving the shoulders and ramps, and replacing thermo and loops. Baldwin Paving is responsible for manufacturing and placing 55,000 Tons of Asphalt, 191,000 SY of milling, and Traffic Control. Our Subcontractors are responsible for micro milling, installation of thermo, and installation of loops.

I-285 @ SR 400 Transform Improvement Project

This priority project adds new flyover ramps, new collector-distributor lanes and other facilities to aid east-west travel along I-285 and north-south travel along SR 400. This project consisted of 4.3 miles of I-285 from west of Roswell Road to east of Ashford Dunwoody Road and 6.2 miles along SR 400 from the Glenridge Connector to Spalding Drive. Baldwin Paving was responsible for Resurfacing nearly 400,000 tons, over 500,000 SYs of Milling, over 10,000 feet of storm drain, among other items like traffic control, soil cement, barrier wall, and stabilization to name a few. Baldwin was a critical stakeholder in completion of this project.

I-285 Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project

This project replaced the pavement that was in poor overall condition along I-285 west side from CS 843/Collier Drive to CR 2838/Paces Ferry Road in Fulton and Cobb Counties. GDOT proposed to replace the existing JPCP on I-285 a distance of 7.22 miles. The project also replaced the shoulders, concrete median barrier, glare screen and guardrail and corrected the existing substandard cross slope. Baldwin Paving is responsible for manufactoring and placing nearly 420,000 tons of asphalt, micromilling, and traffic control.

This project consisted of replacing the pavement that was in poor overall condition along SR400 in Dawson and Lumpkin Counties. GDOT proposed to resurface the 12.5mm Poly and OGFC on SR400 for a distance of 7.95 miles. The project also consisted of repaving the shoulders and ramps, as well as replacing thermo and loops. Baldwin Paving is responsible for manufacturing and placing 40,000 Tons of Asphalt, 380,000 SY of milling, and Traffic Control. Our Subcontractors are responsible for installation of thermo and installation of loops.

This project consisted of grading out and building a new parking lot for the new Pickens County Airport Terminal building. Baldwin was responsible for installing new 18" Storm Drain Pipe and drainage structures, moving dirt to build the new parking lot pad, placing GAB, installing new curb and sidewalk, and paving the new parking lot. Our subcontractors were responsible for erosion control, striping the parking lot, and installing new decorative fencing and gates around the parking lot.

This project consisted of building a roundabout on SR 14 at SR 41. Baldwin was responsible for grading, placing GAB, installing 18" Storm Drain pipe, milling asphalt and paving asphalt. This project was designed to remove a historical rock culvert and replace with a new precast single barrel culvert. Baldwin was responsible for grading, placing GAB, building and pouring the footer foundation, placing and setting the precast culvert pieces, and paving asphalt. Our subcontractors were responsible for erosion control, guardrail, striping and ground post-mounted signs.

I-20 Ramp

Reconstruction and rehabilitation for operational improvements on I-20 at SR 42 Moreland Ave. We added over 7,700 SY of PCC Concrete and 965 LF of new Concrete Side Barrier on both On ramps and Off ramps on the project. This project also consist of adding 2 new traffic signals.
